Faux Pearl & Crystals

Hi ladies,
Some of you have asked me about the pearls that I used for the Christmas tags below and I've decided to put some up for sale in an assortment of colours in pink, blue and autumn.  Do check out my 'Handmade Stuff for sale' on the top right hand corner of this page to see the full range!

Ok, crushed orange and chocolate is automatically ruled out...

Blueberry, cream soda and green apply seem close...

The answer is

CREAM SODA!

The picture is not very clear but cream soda is clearly the lowest cos it's already half used, just that on the photo the glitter sticks quite a bit to the sides of the stix so it appers that it's still a lot left.

8.30am - Rise & Shine...do laundry
8.50am - Sent H off the door to work..followed by E! Entertainment: Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane..
10am - Hang Laundry..
10:15am - Read newspapers and scoff at Mr K Shammugam's reply to Members of the House about Mas Salamat
10.45 ff - Suft net!

I can so get used to this pseudo Tai Tai life!!

Resident photographer H has to bring home the bacon while I am at home so amateur me took his camera and snapped the following pictures of my latest work:

The camera was set to f 6.8 and I have no idea what it means although H always tells me if I wanna do those blur background thingys, the f has to be very low, like 2.8 but I have no idea how to adjust the f thing...haha...I will ask him later tonight when he gets back on how to do adjust the f...

This pressie is for a baby shower we're attending this Saturday for H's Uni friend baby girl Janelle and I was more than happy to make something for her....

More Christmas Tags!!

I'm addicted to making Christmasy stuff!! Whooo....

If you know me, I've eschewed doing Christmasy stuff for the past 2 years so this is a first for me and I'm really loving it! Sidenote: The other 'season' which I stay away from is V Day...never really like all those lovey dovey stuff! :)

The first batch of tags I did was the fun cutesy sort and this time, I wanted a different style...

May I present my 2nd patch of Christmas tags...

And here's all of them in a picture collage...whoo! I have to say I really really like them!!

In the spirit of Christmas, I'd like to give away the following tag to one of you lovely ladies and this time, it won't be a random draw but I'd like you to do some guessing!

Baby Frame!

It's baby season around the work place so after I did an album for my neighbour, L, I decided I have to another for my other neighbour, also with the name L!  I'm sitting in between 2 preggie ladies!  Now, this preggy mama has been such a good neighbour to me..I get cheesecakes, curry puffs and pandan cakes..wooo...growing fat with all the awesome food she feeds me with!

And since she's having a girl (whooo..I love designing for baby girls!)..I decided that this frame I've saved up for so long should go to her:

 

So there you have it!  L, I hope you have a smooth delivery and here's 3 cheers to having a little baby girl coming your way soon!

Scrapping Fun!

Had 2 colleagues over to my place yesterday to make presents for their friends and we had a blast!  Here's one of them cutting paper...Yes..a guy! Finally!  The cult is spreading in the department..heee heee.. :)

And our finished products - A Notebook & a matching card!

 

Now it it's up to you to guess who's this fortunate girl who will be receiving these very soon.  I'd be so touched if any guy made anything close to this for me..but alas..my time has come and gone without these and I know I can keep dreaming that H will do this for me someday but for all that he is to me, his love for me and his support for this expensive & crazy hobby of mine, I can live without these gifts (for now!)...

Give away!!

YES!  You read the title rightly!  It's time for another giveway!  

I  remember how when I first started scrapping I was a big sucker for give aways and it was so thrilling to see your name picked for RAKs and lovely giveaways!  Although I hardly keep up with the numerous giveaways these days, I can so remember how it feels to win something!  My best win was from Cosmo Cricket..out of 200+ people who left their names, my name got picked. Twice.  I should never enter into any of their other draws cos I don't think they'll ever pick me after two times!  It was fun stalking the DHL guy and eagerly anticipating his arrival!

Yeah..so enough said, I'm going to make someone out there a very happy girl (sorry, this RAK is only restricted to Singaporeans!) so I'm giving the following stuff away...I'll also throw in another American Crafts Field House Printed Paper (Botanique) into the RAK (sincere apologies didn't manage to squeeze that into the picture!)

For baby Trinity!

I think it's baby season!  Yvonne just gave birth to Trinity 2 months back and I've not even seen her but I will soon!  This frame is for baby Trinity...after Isaac and Faith.  I'm sure she'll be as cute as Faith..who I really adore..she lets me carry her so easily..wonderful toddler!

P.S: Photos taken by long suffering H who always has to put aside his work to snap pics for me.  I'm still learning how to take photos by myself that are decent but it's tough man...

Baby Album with OA goodness!

My neighbour, L, broke good news to me 2 weeks ago that she's expecting her first baby!  She showed me a scan picture of the jillybean in her belly last week and it dawned on me that I need to make her an album for her to put all her scans to preserve memories of this exciting journey that she's embarking on!

So, out came all the OA paper I've been hoarding for the longest time and I had so much fun doing this album over the long weekend. (Love the 'crazy for you' charm tag that Jean bought for me from the US. I think it's perfect for this!)

I'm going to have a hard time giving this precious album away cos I love it so much but I will have to part with it soon!  Anyway, it's going to a great work mate and I really hope she loves it as much as I do!

Now I just need to make a lovely box to store this one in before I give it to her!  Anyone knows of any links you can refer me to to make a box about 4.5 inch in diameter?
